Welcome to Clarendon Family Daycare

We are very happy to announce that Clarendon Family Day Care, Inc. has been awarded a Supportive Contract from the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) in partnership with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) serving families in the areas of Lawrence and Lowell.
Who we are:
  • Clarendon Family Day Care, Inc. (CFDC) was founded in 1978 and became the first agency to sponsor the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program for independent licensed family child care providers across Massachusetts.

  • For over 30 years CFDC has been providing family child care services to hundreds of children and families in the Greater Areas of Boston, Lowell, Lawrence and Springfield.

Clarendon Family Day Care, Inc. is a member in good standing of the following Professional Organizations:

  • The Massachusetts Association of Day Care Agencies

What we do:
  • CFDC provides a year-round, full-day educational child development program for children ranging in age from birth to 13 years.

  • CFDC provides culturally-sensitive support in diverse languages such as Spanish, Khmer, Portuguese, Vietnamese and English.

  • We help income-eligible parents to access Child Care Financial Assistance by facilitating child care Voucher and Contracted Care services funded by the Department of Early Care and Education (DEEC). Child Care Vouchers assist parents with reduced child care costs during transition and are authorized by Massachusetts’ Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) .

  • We ensure quality Early Childhood Education by providing Professional Development opportunities to our Providers.

  • We supply providers with educational, nutritional, professional, administrative and technical resources while actively working with parents to secure quality childcare.
Clarendon’s mission:

  • To promote quality of care and to enhance professionalism in Early Childhood Education.

Clarendon Family Day Care, Inc. is a non-profit state-funded Organization dedicated to the education and well-being of every child in Massachusetts. We actively pursue supports and services for the neediest children in our communities with the goal of providing all children with an Early Childhood Education and consistent Nutrition for healthy development.
